Welcome to Victoria M. Portfolio! Let me introduce myself, I’m Victoria Mohammed, the creator of this portfolio website which was founded in 2010.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in Spring 2010 with two bachelor’s degrees, Business Administration and Arts and Technology. During my undergrad, I was accepted into the Fast Track program which allowed me to take 12 hours to apply towards my MBA. As a result, I decided to pursue my MBA which I completed in August 2011 with a concentration in IT.
Previously, I worked as a Web Content Specialist at eLighters. At eLighters, I managed the product database for multiple eCommerce businesses. I wrote creative product descriptions for a variety of merchandise to target consumers interested in personalized specialty gifts. In 2012, I joined Capital One as an associate part of their IT college rotational program. I worked at Capital One for about 6 years in various roles including BSA, Scrum Master and Project Manager. In 2018, I accepted a contracting role serving as a Scrum Master and BSA for a DWH modernization project and eventually moved onto a similar project working at USAA in 2020.
On the side, I’ve done freelance work in product and event photography, web design and consulting. While web design is one of my favorite pastimes, I plan to focus on building out content for a travel and food blog in the future.
During my free time, I enjoy attending yoga classes, spinning and weight training. My all-time favorite sport is karate. I used to attend karate but stopped due to schedule conflicts. While I may not attend karate classes anymore, I still love it and hope to join back one day!
